Montgomery Goes Purple
Tree of Hope is partnered with Montgomery Goes Purple which focuses on Recovery Month throughout September. Recovery Month is an international observance to celebrate recovery and encourage individuals with a mental health or substance use disorder to seek recovery. This event is meant to reduce the negative stigma surrounding mental health and substance use disorder, and promote treatment along with recovery. Over 107,000 lives are lost to substance use disorder in the last year, and our goal is to raise awareness and encourage people to reach out for help.
