Born and raised in the metropolitan city of Baltimore City Maryland, I have been in recovery since August 15th, 2015. Since 2015, my life has been centered around recovery support and making integration possible for all individuals living with substance use disorder, through network, building recovery capital, education ,service and  fellowship. I came to the Tree of Hope Association this year 2024.As the Peer Supervisor for the Next Gen Pathfinders/ Youth Team. Very excited to serve MCPS students, to support them in discovering their own individualized  recovery pathway, tailored to fit the needs of the individual. Reconnecting families , and communities all across Montgomery County. I have compassion for the work that I do, and want nothing more than to give back the same support that was given freely to me.

My name is Jessica and I work with adolescents struggling with substance misuse. I am also a person in recovery and have lived experience with over a year and a half sober! A fun fact about myself is that my favorite animal is a goat!

My name is Xavier, I am a Youth Peer Support specialist at Tree of Hope Association.

I'm coming up on 2 years of sobriety. I love working in this field because it allows me to give back what was so freely given to me. I feel it is very important to have support for youth, there are many people getting sober at an older age and that are changing the world, imagine if they got sober younger.
